I was going to put up a post about the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, but then I was reading Rory's blog and it's really good and exciting. This is probably a boring post now. Maybe if I throw in something sweet as well, to spice up the pot!

By the way blogs are fucking back. Sterling is blogging, Danny has his new website, and I saw Billy might have something going on.

So I think this may be the next really really awesome thing. Fabrizio Moretti, the Strokes' drummer, started a new band, Little Joy. I think that's a good name. And Noel Georgeson is producing the album. And he's in this photo, is he in the band? I don't think, but he's in the touring band. And they have songs on myspace and they are really really good. And they're playing the backstage of the Black Cat soon.

Happy Birthday Ben! You're 24 now, which means you are gay now. Not in the homo way but in the birthday way. I love you, in the homo way.

Danny's website is so good! We're going to send you stuff soon Danny. But right now we are busy getting ready to make a pizza. It's going to have artichokes on it. And then we're going to fold the slices and put mayo and LTO and turkey in between. Peatza.

We're going to see Ryan Adams this weekend for my birthday!

We smoked yesterday. I'm sorry. But Nick quit and he smoked, so we did. And Kevin put me through a test because he thinks he is John Locke. He made me ask for a cigarette 3 times. It's Annie's fault. But it's ok, it was an exception. It was the exception that proves the rule. We're done now.

I've done it. The first 24 hours are complete. With the help of generic nicotine patches. It's really strong and made me feel like I was going to pass out or vom. Try it. I'm listening to a couple of new Peter and the Wolf songs and there are some really nice and pretty harmonies.

A three piece band played really nice songs at work tonight. There was a tuba and congas, flute and piano, harmonica and guitar, and occasional vocals. They did an instrumental version of Something that was really nice. I told the drummer I liked it and he didn't know they had played it.

I made probably more than ten lemon drop shots for a dude that was watching them. He was going through a break-up he said and was sad. He also got a shot of tequila and 5 or 6 Guinnesses. Is that how you spell that?

When I walked back to pay the band the dude didn't have a shirt on.



These songs are really good. I also got the new MOJO and it came with one of their compilations. Vashti Bunyan does Martha My Dear and it's REALLY REALLY good. It's with another dude and there is a harp part that is something else!

Today is the day. I'm going to smoke all day, but this is it. I'm on the last pack. Can I do it? Any bets? You can't bet, because I haven't told anyone about this blog yet. Maybe I'll do that today too. Big Day!

I'm quitting smoking tomorrow. And tomorrow is Bob Lepor's birthday. I think he's 32. And three days after that I'm going to a wedding. So now I'm smoking a lot. I guess I have to take it in and enjoy it while it lasts. My period button doesn't work on my keyboard so I have to paste one in every time I need it. It's really annoying.

This is my new blog. Hopefully it will go better than my old one. Things are looking up, so I think it will.
