We saw Tune-Yards last night, which was pretty phenomenal. I recorded it...the audio isn't perfect, but still good. If you please you can download it here. I recommend it. She had a bassist who crushed...so good. Listen for this one awesome riff on the first song of part 2, you'll find it.

Also, these are tight. Thanks Annie.

Holy Shit, Larry just showed this to me...this is such a good idea!!!

Going to see tUnE-yArDs toonight! con band, looks like it will be tight...

Whoa! Danny found this...pretty awesome.

A fun little puzzle for you...

First one to get this wins. You will win respect from me and anyone who checks this blog. We heard this on Car Talk this morning...it's a good one. I don't know how you could, but don't cheat. You have a 4 oz glass, a 9 oz glass, and an unlimited supply of water. The goal is to perfectly measure out 6 oz of water in 8 steps. (Filling a glass and dumping it out is 2 steps, not one) Good luck.

Last weekend...

there was a little mishap when peter was putting shotgun holes in a beer with a drill...

Oh my god its really happening

Holy Cow, this guy seems like the star of Duke. Does anyone know who he is?? I'll give you a hint. He's Sydney Smith's brother.

We had a gross dinner tonight.

April Fools, this is delicious.

We had a really expensive dinner tonight.

April Fools, 2 pizzas cost $7 (including a whole pineapple, of which we have half left for fruit salad). 2 whole pizzas!

Brendan posted the sickest video on his blog! You should watch it. Here.

fucking unbelievable

Holy cow! Don't be jealous. I just borrowed this from my Dad. He said it's worth the cost ten times over just for James Brown's performance. It's taunting me because I don't have the time to watch it until this weekend. I'm really excited. Look at that lineup!

P.S. Chuck Berry is still alive and he's headlining one of the nights of the Chesapeake Blues fest this year!

UPDATE: This is Chuck Berry now, and I don't know about you, but I think I like this is fucking awesome. I wasn't sure about seeing him, since it's so often disappointing to see people like that now, but I'm going the complete opposite direction here, this is really cool. How is possibly moving around that fast and playing guitar at this age?

Well this is just awesome.

I've also always loved this song, but hadn't given the lyrics any thought. Watching the video got me so much more excited about it.

the shit they should have shown

Annie has all the other pictures on her frog.
